Osun State stands today as a powerful testament to transformative, accountable leadership under Governor Ademola Adeleke. In what can only be described as a divine favor, His Excellency has led Osun from years of opacity and stagnation to unprecedented heights of fiscal excellence and public trust.
According to the latest States Fiscal Transparency League (SFTL) report for Q4 2025 released by BudgIT, a respected civic organization dedicated to budget transparency and accountability, Osun is one of only nine states in Nigeria to attain the maximum score of 39 points, the highest possible across all assessed indicators.
This achievement is particularly profound because it has never seen the light of day in the last 12 years of APC governance in Osun. During that era, fiscal transparency was consistently weak, with poor disclosures, limited public access to financial data, and rankings far below national benchmarks. Governor Adeleke’s administration has broken that cycle, delivering what was once unthinkable: sustained top-tier performance, including this Q4 2025 perfect score and earlier dominance in Q3 2025 where Osun ranked first among 11 states with 100%.
It has been nothing short of divine favor for Governor Ademola Adeleke to lead Osun to these greater heights. Continuity is essential to sustain this promised land of transparency, efficiency, reduced waste, and citizen empowerment. Let us not return to the old ways—let us build on this foundation for lasting prosperity.
This latest achievement is more than just a statistic; it’s powerful evidence of effective, people-centered governance that prioritizes openness, efficiency, and public trust. As Osun approaches the next gubernatorial election, this recognition serves as another strong sign to vote for Mr. Governor for a second term.
