Comrade James Onifade has described the massive turnout at the “Imole Walk for Continuity” in Osogbo as a heartwarming sign of strong support by Osun residents for Governor Ademola Adeleke’s re-election in 2026.

Reacting to the solidarity walk led by the Secretary to the State Government, Hon. Teslim Igbalaye, Onifade said the presence of youths, women, artisans, community leaders and political supporters reflected growing confidence in the current administration.

He described the event as more than a political gathering, calling it “the voice of the people” and an expression of appreciation for what he termed responsive and people-oriented governance under Governor Adeleke.

Onifade noted that the administration has distinguished itself through infrastructural renewal, improved workers’ welfare, grassroots development and pro-people policies across the state.

He commended Hon. Teslim Igbalaye’s leadership and mobilisation efforts, describing his commitment to the administration’s success as worthy of recognition. The unity displayed during the walk, he added, proves that Adeleke’s supporters are determined to sustain the administration beyond 2026.

According to Onifade, rising support for the governor across Osun communities has unsettled opposition parties, as residents are now more politically conscious and focused on continuity of development.

He urged youths and grassroots supporters to remain steadfast and back leaders committed to Osun’s progress, expressing confidence that Governor Adeleke will secure massive support in the next governorship election based on his performance and connection with the people.
