Nigeria is bleeding. Nigerians are suffering like never before in the history of this country.
Under the APC government of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in just over 2 years, Nigeria has borrowed over $11.4 BILLION with nothing to show for it:
– $800 Million for power empowerment in 2023
– $700 Million for power in 2023
– $750 Million for power
– $1.08 Billion for power and education reform
– $500 Million for power in 2024
– $2 Billion for education
– $600 Million for health
– $1.5 Billion for economic stabilization
– $2.25 Billion for economic stabilization again
All these billions were borrowed in the name of power, education, health, and stabilization, yet there is still no electricity, no good schools, no good hospitals, no food, and no economic stability. Where is the infrastructure? Where is the 5,000 megawatts promised? Where are the jobs? Where are the hospitals?
Today, Nigerians are still in darkness, buying fuel at over N1,500 per litre, buying a bag of rice at over N100,000, and living without hope. The Naira has collapsed. Businesses have closed. Youths are jobless. This is proof that the APC has wrecked this nation completely. They have borrowed our future and stolen our present.
But 2027 is coming. Next year, Nigerians will answer with their votes. The anger of millions will become votes. The frustration of millions will become votes. The pain of millions will become votes. The hunger of millions will become votes.
And only ATIKU ABUBAKAR of the AFRICAN DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS (ADC) can rescue this nation from the hands of APC wreckers.
WHY ATIKU? THE COMPREHENSIVE RESCUE PLAN:
1. ECONOMIC REVIVAL AND MASSIVE JOB CREATION:
Atiku will not run the economy with propaganda and trial-and-error. As Vice President from 1999 to 2007, he chaired the National Economic Council that paid off Nigeria’s foreign debt, privatized moribund public corporations, and grew the economy at 7% annually. As President under the ADC, Atiku will end multiple taxation, open up the economy for private sector-led growth, create over 5 million jobs in 4 years through SMEs, tech hubs and manufacturing, and stop reckless borrowing.
2. PERMANENT SOLUTION TO POWER FAILURE:
Atiku will fully decentralize the power sector, allow states and private companies to generate and distribute power, end the monopoly and fraud in DisCos and GenCos, and invest in gas-to-power and renewable energy to achieve 15,000MW in 4 years.
3. CRASH FUEL PRICE, CRASH FOOD PRICE:
Atiku will revive the Port Harcourt, Warri and Kaduna refineries through transparent private concession, support the Dangote Refinery and modular refineries to make Nigeria a net exporter of fuel, crash the fuel price from N1,500 to an affordable level, and provide security and loans to farmers to feed the nation.
4. TRUE NATIONAL UNITY AND RESTRUCTURING:
Atiku is the only truly detribalized leader. He will practice true federalism, devolve more powers and resources to states, ensure inclusive government for every zone and religion, and end nepotism in appointments.
5. TOTAL SECURITY OVERHAUL:
Atiku will reform the entire security architecture, recruit 500,000 more police officers, equip them properly, deploy modern technology and drones to fight banditry and kidnapping, create State Police, and address the root causes of insecurity.
6. WORLD-CLASS EDUCATION AND HEALTHCARE:
Atiku will allocate 25% of the budget to education, renovate all federal schools, pay teachers living wages, give students loans and grants, invest in vocational and tech education, revamp all Federal Medical Centres, and introduce National Health Insurance for the poor.
7. FIGHT CORRUPTION WITH INSTITUTIONS:
Atiku will strengthen the EFCC, ICPC and Judiciary to fight corruption without selective witch-hunt.
Atiku has the experience, the capacity, the network, and the national acceptance to fix this broken economy. He is a job creator, a unifier, a bridge-builder, and a leader for all Nigerians.
ADC is now the hope of the common man. It is the third force Nigerians have been waiting for. It is the party that will Arise and Shine Nigeria again.
2027 is not an election; it is a rescue mission. We will vote out hunger, we will vote out darkness, we will vote out hardship, we will vote out high fuel price, we will vote out the borrow-borrow government.
