It is shocking that Mr. Bashir Ajibola, SRJ, the APC National Secretary, would give Governor Ademola Adeleke an ‘F9’ in Education, Health, and Infrastructure.
That claim is false. It does not match what we see in Osun today. On what facts is he basing this? Not on data. Not on proof. And not on what Osun people experience every day.
To be frank, Mr. Ajibola has no ground to stand on. His words are just political noise. Empty and without proof. This is the same man who led Gboyega Oyetola’s campaign as Director-General in 2022. He led that campaign to total failure.
Osun people spoke clearly. They rejected his leadership in his unit, his ward, his local government, and his senatorial district. That result was a real ‘F9’. He can not change that with careless talk today.
Mr. Ajibola should look in the mirror before he talks. He failed as a Campaign DG. He could not deliver his own house. He lost everywhere. Now, he wants to grade a governor who is working. That is shameful.
SRJ can not teach what he did not pass. You do not fail an exam and turn around to mark another person’s paper. Osun marked his paper in 2022. The score was ‘F9’. The people collected their PVCs and used it to fail him.
So it is funny that a man with that record would attack a governor whose work we can all see across the state.
Being National Secretary does not give you the right to twist facts or deny progress. That office is not a license to lie. Leadership means being responsible. It means sticking to facts, not spreading lies to stay relevant.
Has Mr. Ajibola walked around Osogbo recently? Has he seen GRA and Oke-Fia? Has he missed the new roads, the better hospitals, and the money put into schools? Or is he just closing his eyes on purpose? Maybe he only visits Osun to abuse people and run back to Abuja.
Even in Ila-Orangun, where he made this comment, the dual-carriage road being built is clear proof of work. He stood on that soil to insult Adeleke. But he was standing on Adeleke’s project. That is the definition of biting the finger that feeds you.
The truth is simple: Governor Ademola Adeleke still has the trust of Osun people. Osun people are not fools. They know who is working. They support progress. No amount of loud talk can wipe away the good work people are enjoying now.
Mr. Ajibola has nothing new to say. His claims should be ignored. They are baseless, empty, and only for politics. He is a yesterday man trying to judge today. Osun people deserve better than old insults from someone who failed before.
SRJ should focus on rebuilding his own name first. When he wins his polling unit, then he can talk about grading governors. Until then, he should respect the office he is attacking and respect the people of Osun who rejected him.
As Osun moves forward, one thing is sure: the state will not be distracted by noise. The people have seen the difference. They will keep standing by the truth
