In government, results speak louder than lies. While good leaders bring real development, others give excuses. The APC’s noise over the opening of the big, standard LAMECO Flyover Bridge in Osun State shows this difference clearly.
APC’s problem is simple: failure hidden with desperation. Their “overhead bridges,” which people call NEPA-ladder bridges like the one at Orita Olaiya, have failed all standard, lab, and expert tests. Those are not real projects. They are signs of poor work.
It is sad and wrong for any reasonable person to place the ordinary NEPA-ladder bridge, which some people fondly call “GADA OYETOLA” and which was built in the last administration of Alhaji Isiak Oyetola, above the big, standard LAMECO Flyover Bridge built by the hardworking Governor Ademola Adeleke. It is also wrong to attack a great work that even the deaf can hear about and the blind can see. Put both side by side: the difference is too much. It is like one to one million.
Why try to stop the Olubadan from attending? Because every project Adeleke does reminds people of APC’s twelve years of poor leadership. Their fear of Adeleke shows they have failed. The people of Osun will not forget.
They are afraid of comparison. They are afraid of people checking their failed ladders against Adeleke’s strong flyover. They are afraid that truth will kill their propaganda.
Adeleke’s Three Years of Quality Work
In three years, Governor Adeleke has shown true leadership. He builds for the future, not for pictures. The LAMECO Flyover Bridge meets world standards.
This is good leadership: respect for people and tradition, speed, quality, and development without politics. While APC threatens kings, Adeleke works and wins respect across the state.
The LAMECO Flyover Bridge stands for a Quality Revolution. It is proof that Osun can rise above poor work with the right leader.
A Clear Message to APC
APC should stop making bad statements. Governor Adeleke’s work is too much for them. It is a heavy blow to Osun APC, deep to the bone. If one of several projects under Governor Ademola Adeleke has just been opened, the good people of Osun are very eager to see the rest opened. It is believed that the mouth-watering project done under the administration of His Excellency Governor Ademola Adeleke is overwhelming, and that is one of the reasons Osun APC is jittery.
APC’s real problem is not the Olubadan. It is the truth. Every good project shows their emptiness. Their attack on traditional rulers shows fear and panic.
APC should think and copy Adeleke’s way. Osun people are wise. They know the difference between ladders and real development, between empty talk and real work.
The Quality Revolution can not be stopped. The flyover stands tall. Results are speaking. History will judge those who chose excuses instead of good work.
