The Osun Civil Society Matters Committee of the Imole Campaign Council sends warm Eid Mubarak greetings to Muslim faithful across Osun State as you join millions around the world to celebrate Eid al-Kabir today.

As we mark this sacred festival of sacrifice, prayer, and reflection, we urge you to carry forward the same spirit of unity, love, and shared purpose into our state’s journey toward the August 15, 2026 governorship election. Let the values of Eid inspire us to choose peace, progress, and people-centered leadership for Osun.

The Committee said the festival is a time for sacrifice, prayer, and reflection, and called on Muslims to use the occasion to pray for peace, unity, and progress in the state and Nigeria.

It noted that the Muslim community continues to play an important role in building peaceful relations among different religious groups in Osun State, which has long been known for religious diversity and tolerance.

The Committee encouraged residents to show love to one another during the celebration and to remember the needy through acts of sharing and kindness, which are part of the spirit of Eid.

It also urged citizens to support efforts aimed at improving living conditions and development across communities in the state.

The Committee wished all Muslim faithful a peaceful and joyful Eid al-Kabir celebration.
