Jegede, SAN, a former Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice in Ondo State and a prominent political figure who has contested the governorship on the PDP platform, formally joined the ADC alongside other political associates. His decision brings his wealth of experience, network and supporters into the ADC as it continues to expand its political structure ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Also welcomed into the ADC was High Chief Asaba Okeowo Olafimihan, a former PDP Chairman of Owo Local Government, who joined as part of the growing number of political stakeholders aligning with the ADC.
The development highlights the growing involvement of Obailukan in political mobilisation and the expansion of the ADC beyond Ondo State. Obailukan has been actively involved in political engagements across the South-West, building relationships and strengthening the party’s presence across Ondo, Ekiti, Osun, Oyo, Ogun and Lagos States, as the party continues to rally stakeholders around its 2027 presidential project with former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
