The Advocacy for Strategic Alliance (ASA) has extended warm Eid-el-Kabir greetings to Muslim faithful across Nigeria and beyond, joining them in the celebration of sacrifice, obedience, and unwavering faith in Almighty Allah.
In its Sallah message, the group rejoiced with Muslims on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir, popularly known as “Ileya” among Yoruba-speaking communities, describing the festival as a sacred reminder of Prophet Ibrahim’s devotion and willingness to submit fully to divine instruction.
ASA noted that the celebration comes at a crucial time when Nigerians are facing social and economic challenges, urging citizens to embrace the values of patience, tolerance, and unity as taught by the Eid message.
The organization emphasized that Eid-el-Kabir is not only a period of festivity but also a call to deeper reflection on sacrifice, compassion, and support for the less privileged in society.
It further encouraged Nigerians, regardless of religious or ethnic background, to continue to foster peaceful coexistence and strengthen the bonds that hold the nation together.
ASA also used the opportunity to pray for national peace, stability, and progress, expressing hope that the spirit of the season will bring renewed strength and harmony to families and communities.
The group concluded its message with a heartfelt “Barka de Sallah” to all Muslim faithful, wishing them a joyful and spiritually fulfilling celebration.
