The Advocacy for Strategic Alliance (ASA), a prominent support group aligned with the Accord party and committed to fostering collaboration between government and the people, has extended warm felicitations to the Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, on the occasion of his 66th birthday.

In a congratulatory message signed by its leadership, ASA described Governor Adeleke as a visionary leader whose administration exemplifies purposeful and people-centered governance. The group praised his commitment to transforming Osun State through infrastructure development, improved service delivery, and economic revitalization since assuming office in November 2022.

“Today, we join millions of well-wishers in celebrating a man of integrity, compassion, and action. Governor Adeleke has not only brought stability and progress to Osun but has also demonstrated what true leadership looks like in challenging times,” the statement read.

ASA highlighted several key areas where the governor’s “Imole” (Light) administration has made significant impacts:

• Education: Osun State has risen notably in national rankings, reaching seventh position in NECO and WAEC performance, reflecting investments in quality teaching and learning environments.

• Infrastructure: Over 300 kilometers of roads have been rehabilitated or constructed, including major flyovers that have eased traffic in urban centers.

The administration has also delivered boreholes across all 332 wards and upgraded numerous primary healthcare centers.

• Health and Social Welfare: The state secured back-to-back international healthcare awards worth $500,000. Thousands of residents have benefited from free medical outreaches, while pension arrears have been substantially cleared and retirees enrolled in health insurance schemes.

• Economy and Empowerment: Internal revenue has doubled even as debts were reduced. Initiatives such as interest-free cooperative loans, support for farmers through the Imole Agropreneur Scheme, and SME empowerment programs have boosted local businesses and food production.

• Workers’ Welfare: Implementation of the ₦75,000 minimum wage and consistent payment of salaries have improved the living standards of civil servants.

The group commended Governor Adeleke’s “compassionate style” of leadership, which emphasizes inclusivity, rural development, and youth empowerment through technology and agriculture initiatives.

“His Excellency has turned Osun into a shining example of good governance, proving that leadership is about service, results, and touching lives,” ASA noted. “We are proud to stand with a governor who walks the talk.”

As Osun State prepares for future electoral cycles, ASA urged residents to rally behind the governor’s re-election bid under the banner of continuity and sustained development.

The group expressed confidence that his re-election would consolidate the gains made and propel the state to greater heights.
