Fellow citizens of Osun State, the good people of Osogbo, Ede, Ile-Ife, Ilesa, Ikirun, Iwo, Ejigbo, and every corner of our beloved State , from the bustling markets to the peaceful farmlands, from the youths full of dreams to the elders rich in wisdom – it is time to speak plainly and boldly. The All Progressives Congress (APC) has once again shown its true colours. They have resumed their old, discredited game of deception and sabotage. In a desperate bid to jeopardise the unstoppable re-election ambition of our performing Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, they are now staging hired individuals to masquerade as members of the Accord.
There is NO internal crisis in the Accord. The Accord is united, intact, focused, and marching confidently behind our performing Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, toward a resounding re-election victory in 2026. Any noise suggesting otherwise is manufactured, baseless, and deliberately designed to mislead the good people of Osun.
These impostors are being paraded across social media, streets, and even some radio programmes, claiming internal crisis and issuing empty threats. But let us be very clear from the outset: this plot is dead on arrival. It cannot succeed. It will not succeed.
And we, the true Accord faithful, the people of Osun, and Governor Adeleke himself, have absolutely no cause for alarm.
First, let us set the records straight with facts that even the APC cannot twist. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has already rectified every necessary document. Our party’s name, symbols, and candidates are firmly and legally on the ballot paper for the forthcoming gubernatorial election. This is not a rumour; it is official, gazetted, and irreversible. INEC’s stamp of approval is not a piece of paper that can be wished away by propaganda. It is the law. It is the constitution in action. Governor Adeleke’s re-election bid is not hanging in the balance – it is already standing on the solid rock of legality and popular support.
The APC knows this. Their hired agents know this. That is precisely why they have resorted to this shameful theatre of staging fake “dissidents.” They cannot win fairly, so they are trying to create confusion where none exists.
These so-called agitators are nothing but merchants of “stomach infrastructure.” Everyone in Osun knows what that phrase truly means. They are not driven by ideology, not by love for the people, not by any genuine grievance. They are paid performers, stomach infrastructure contractors who collect crumbs today and disappear tomorrow when the paymaster moves on.
Their agitation cannot hold any water because it has no foundation. It is built on lies, sponsored by fear, and destined for ridicule. How do we know? Because genuine party members – the real Accord loyalists who have sacrificed time, resources, and energy – are united behind Governor Adeleke. We have seen the development he has brought: roads repaired, schools upgraded, water flowing again in communities that suffered for years, security improved, and youth empowerment programmes that are actually touching lives.
The APC cannot match that record, so instead of campaigning on ideas, they campaign with fake news and hired voices.
Good people of Osun, this is not the first time we have seen this script. In previous election cycles, the same desperate tactics were deployed – fake decampees, rented crowds, doctored videos, and sponsored petitions. Each time, the people saw through the lies and delivered victory.
Governor Adeleke is not just a candidate; he is the choice of the masses. He is the man who turned Osun from a state of broken promises into a state of visible transformation. His re-election is not a wish – it is a mathematical certainty when the votes are counted.
I therefore address every man, woman, youth, trader, farmer, civil servant, artisan, and student in Osun State: Do not be distracted. Do not lend your ears to the noise of these hired voices. Remain strong. Remain vigilant. Remain united. The Accord Party is intact, focused, and marching forward with the full backing of the law and the love of the people. Governor Ademola Adeleke’s ambition is not in danger – it is in destiny.
The same people who voted overwhelmingly in 2022 are still here, even more convinced now because they have tasted the difference between governance and mere politics.
We are victorious. Victory is not coming – it is already here, sealed by INEC and endorsed by the people. Osun State, arise! Stay resolute! The sun is still shining on us. Governor Ademola Adeleke’s re-election is unstoppable. Together, we shall celebrate another landslide victory that will shock the enemies of progress. No amount of sponsored noise can drown the voice of the people. We have no cause for alarm. We have every cause for celebration.
Forward ever, backward never. Osun is working. Osun will keep working under Governor Ademola Adeleke.
